Director

It has been my honor to serve as the Director of Bellevue Montessori School for the past ten years. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been expanding access to Montessori education for younger and older children alike. In 2018, I helped open our Toddler program, introducing families to the Montessori approach at the very start of a child’s educational journey. More recently, the growth of our Elementary program and the opening of the Rossano Campus has given students the opportunity to continue thriving within Montessori through their formative years. These milestones reflect the breadth of Montessori’s extraordinary opportunities for children, from toddlers to elementary-aged students.
Watching our school grow while preserving its strong sense of community and steadfast dedication to the Montessori philosophy has been a true joy.
For more than 30 years, I have devoted my career to the Montessori method, working as both a Primary Lead Teacher and a Head of School in schools of varying sizes. I am a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Communications, hold an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary certification from the Montessori Institute Northwest, and earned a Master of Education from Loyola University in Maryland.
Beyond the classroom and school community, I am grateful to call the Pacific Northwest my home. I enjoy time with my family and find renewal on the forested hiking trails I have loved since childhood.
