I am originally from Brazil and have lived in Australia and Canada before making the

United States my home. My background brings together Communication Studies, a

Master’s degree in Project Management, and User Experience Design. My previous

professional experience involved research, observation, human behavior, and

understanding how people interact with their environment. It also deepened my interest

in neuroscience and how our experiences and environments shape how we think, learn,

and apply what we learn in everyday life.

My Montessori journey began through motherhood. Becoming a mother sparked an

even deeper interest in child development and led me to discover Montessori

philosophy. I was especially drawn to its respect for the child as an individual and the

way it supports each child’s natural drive toward independence. What began as a

personal journey gradually became a professional calling and led me to pursue an AMI

Diploma in Early Childhood Education from the Association Montessori Internationale.

I am passionate about neuroscience and child development, particularly the connection

between early experiences and the developing brain. This perspective complements my

Montessori practice and continues to deepen my understanding of how young children

learn, develop, and build independence.

Having lived in different countries has also shaped my appreciation for different cultures

and perspectives and for the unique backgrounds and experiences children and their

families bring to our Montessori environment.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running, studying music, writing, and spending time

with my family and friends.
