Primary Science Specialist

I am from El Paso, Texas, and have been in the Seattle area since 2005. I got my B.A. in English from New Mexico State University and I hold a Master’s in Library Science from UT Austin. I was drawn to Montessori education as it allows children to be free to explore topics that interest them at their own pace, and I love the collaboration that it allows between older and younger students. I began teaching Kindergarten Science because it brought me closer to the Bellevue Montessori Community, and I was excited about the opportunity to support our Kindergarten students as they begin to explore the natural world around them!
