I was born and raised in Colombia, where I earned my degree in English Education. My passion for working with children has been a constant throughout my education and professional journey. During college, I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching at a Montessori school, which gave me my first meaningful experience with the Montessori philosophy and allowed me to see firsthand how children thrive when they are given the freedom, guidance, and encouragement to become independent and confident learners.

I have always loved working with children and being part of an environment where I can support their growth and development. One of the things I appreciate most about the Montessori approach is the respect it gives to each child as an individual. I love how Montessori encourages children to explore their interests, develop independence, build confidence, and learn at their own pace while fostering a genuine love of learning.

Now, as an Administrative Assistant at Bellevue Montessori School, I am grateful to continue being part of the Montessori community in a different capacity. I enjoy being one of the first people families see when they arrive and helping create a warm, organized, and welcoming environment for our children, parents, teachers, and staff. I value the relationships I am able to build with families and especially enjoy watching the children grow, gain confidence, and become more independent throughout the school year.

 I am also someone who genuinely loves learning and experiencing new things. I believe there is always something new to discover, whether it is through the people around me, a new experience, or simply trying something I have never done before.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, photography, cooking and trying new recipes, and exploring new places. I am also a big coffee lover and especially enjoy discovering new coffee shops. There is something about finding a cozy café and enjoying a good cup of coffee that always makes me happy. I am always excited to find a new favorite spot and welcome any coffee shop recommendations!
