Head Teacher

It is a joy to return to Bellevue Montessori School, where I first began my Montessori journey as an intern and later served as a lead teacher. Being back at BMS truly feels like coming home.

I graduated from the University of Washington, where I majored in International Studies. I bring 18 years of teaching experience, including 10 years in Montessori education. I hold both Primary and Lower Elementary Montessori certifications and have also taught elementary students and served as an English instructor at a government institution in South Korea.

Teaching is my passion. I see it as planting a seed—providing a warm, caring, and supportive environment, offering the right guidance, and then stepping back to allow children to grow into independent, confident learners. Watching them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally brings me great joy.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and taking walks with my wonderful family.
