Head Teacher

I was born in Meriden, Connecticut and lived there with my family until I moved to the West Coast in 1980. The Northwest has been my home ever since. I graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Secondary Education in Integrated Science and then began my Montessori teaching career in 1985 working with adolescents at the Franciscan Montessori Earth School. I received my Montessori elementary degree in 1989 and have been teaching ever since (with a brief stint as a personal chef but that is a whole other story!). I am married with 3 grown children who have all gone to Montessori schools until eighth grade and since moving to Seattle in 1997, my wife has worked for Alaska Airlines so any chance we get we are off exploring this beautiful country of ours! I am very excited to be here in such a vibrant community at Bellevue Montessori School.
