I earned my Montessori certification from the Montessori Center of Minnesota, and I've been a Montessori elementary teacher for five years. Before I worked in a Montessori classroom, I was an artist in residence as well as an English adjunct instructor. I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri—St. Louis in 2014 and my MA in Literature from University of Missouri—Kansas City in 2011. I love writing and reading, but I also am a big fan of drawing, fiber arts, exploring nature, baking, and cooking. During the summer of 2021, I moved from St. Louis, Missouri to Seattle, Washington with my fiancé, Micheal, and our Yorkie, Zora. We already love Washington! I am thrilled to be a part of the Bellevue Montessori community, and I look forward to getting know to everyone!
