I value the art of human connection as it serves as a vital tool to create a nurturing learning environment. I was born and raised in Southern California, where I graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with an emphasis in Social Justice. Working with toddler and elementary-aged children inspired me to gear the social justice aspect of my degree towards equity in educational programs. Advocating for inclusive teaching practices is at the forefront of my passion. Before joining the Bellevue Montessori team I coordinated social-emotional-based programs as a child support advocate. When I relocated to Washington, my goal was to continue working in an environment that supports the social-emotional development of children through a whole-child approach. I was drawn to Bellevue Montessori School because I instantly felt connected to the Montessori values that centered around the individualized learning style of each child. I also enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with my dog Mango.
